Flames assign goaltender Dustin Wolf to AHL

The Calgary Flames have assigned goaltender Dustin Wolf to the AHL’s Calgary Wranglers.

Calgary brought Wolf up with Jacob Martstrom sidelined with a lower-body injury back on Jan. 16. He did not start the game as Markstrom was on the bench to be the backup for Dan Vladar.

Wolf has a 16-6-1 record for the Western Conference-leading Wranglers this season and is second in the AHL with a .929 save percentage and four shutouts.

He is 1-4 in five starts with the Flames this season, with his lone win coming in a 28-save performance in a 3-1 win over Carolina on Dec. 7.
