Depth defenceman Gustav Lindstrom is returning to the Detroit Red Wings after signing a one-year contract worth $950,000 on Saturday.
Lindstrom was an unrestricted free agent after the Red Wings didn’t give him a qualifying offer Friday.
The 24-year-old has spent part of the last four seasons with the Red Wings. In 36 games last year, he had one goal and eight points.
