Hurricanes sign forward Sheldon Rempal to one-year, two-way deal

The Carolina Hurricanes have signed forward Sheldon Rempal to a one-year, two-way deal.

Rempal will earn $700,000 in the AHL and $100,000 at the AHL level for the 2020-21 season. The 25-year-old had 21 points in 56 games with the AHL’s Ontario Reign last season.

The Calgary native has played in seven career NHL games with the Los Angeles Kings after being signed as an undrafted free agent in 2018.
