The Winnipeg Jets have activated defenceman Logan Stanley from injured reserve, the team announced Thursday.

Stanley has been out since Oct. 24 when he fractured a foot while blocking a shot against the St. Louis Blues.

The six-foot-seven native of Waterloo, Ont., could make his return on Thursday against the same Blues team.

Stanley didn’t register a point in five games this season before suffering the injury.

The Jets picked Stanley in the first round (18th overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft. He has two goals and 15 assists in 100 career NHL games.
