Jets agree to terms with G Eric Comrie on two-year contract

Eric Comrie is returning to Winnipeg.

The goaltender agreed to terms with the Winnipeg Jets on a two-year contract worth $1.65 million, the club announced Monday.

Comrie, 28, was with the Buffalo Sabres last season, starting 10 games and posting a .874 save percentage and 3.69 goals-against average with a 2-7 record.

He previously played for the Jets in 2016-2019, then again in the 2021-22 season, serving as backup for two-time Vezina Trophy winner Connor Hellebuyck. He spent two years with the Sabres organization.

Originally drafted by the Jets in the second round of the 2013 Draft, Comrie also has played for the Anaheim Ducks and Detroit Red Wings during his eight-year professional career.
