Jets’ Pierre-Luc Dubois dealing with upper-body injury, will miss start of trip

Pierre-Luc Dubois continues to deal with an upper-body injury and won’t be with the Winnipeg Jets at the start of their three-game road trip.

Dubois is expected to join Winnipeg at some point during their road trip. He was a game-time decision against the Minnesota Wild but did not play.

The 24-year-old returned from a three-game absence on Monday from an upper-body injury, and saw 20:40 of ice time in the Jets’ 3-2 overtime loss to the San Jose Sharks.

Dubois, 24, has 24 goals and 31 assists for 55 points for the Jets this season.

The Jets have stumbled a bit of late, losing seven of their past eight games. They will play the Panthers, Lightning and Hurricanes on their three-game trip beginning Saturday in Florida.
