The Winnipeg Jets signed forward Riley Nash to a one-year, $750,000 contract, the team announced Saturday.
Nash had two goals and five assists in 37 regular season games last season with the Columbus Blue Jackets before he was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs just prior to the deadline. The 32-year-old from Consort, Alta., recorded zero points in two playoff games with the Leafs.
Drafted 21st overall by the Edmonton Oilers in 2007, Nash has played 578 regular season games, scoring 63 goals and 109 assists over 10 seasons with the Carolina Hurricanes, Boston Bruins and Blue Jackets.
