Joey Anderson signs one-year deal with Chicago Blackhawks

Joey Anderson is staying in Chicago.

The Blackhawks have signed the forward to a one-year, two-way contract that will run through the 2023-24 season, the club announced Thursday. The deal is worth $800,000.

The 25-year-old from Minnesota was acquired by Chicago in February 2023 and recorded six points (four goals, two assists) in 24 games with the team.

Prior to becoming a Blackhawk, Anderson skated with the Toronto Maple Leafs and the New Jersey Devils and played in 165 career regular-season AHL games.
