The Toronto Maple Leafs will go with Erik Källgren in goal against the Arizona Coyotes, head coach Sheldon Keefe confirmed.

Källgren will make his first start of the season after being recalled on Saturday when Matt Murray was placed on long-term injured reserve with an adductor injury. Last season, Källgren posted an 8-4-1 with a 3.31 goals-against average and a .888 save percentage when the Leafs dealt with injuries in the crease.

William Nylander will be in the lineup despite missing Sunday’s practice and not participating in the team’s optional morning skate. The 26-year-old leads the team with two goals in three games this season.

The Maple Leafs will face the Coyotes as part of the debut of Rogers Monday Night Hockey presented by Pepsi and Desjardins. Fans can watch the game nationally on Sportsnet Ontario, Sportsnet West and SN NOW beginning at 7 p.m. ET.
