Kevin Connauton inks two-year, two-way deal with Utah HC

The Utah Hockey Club has agreed to a two-year, two-way contract with defenceman Kevin Connauton, the team announced on Monday.

Connauton, 34, made 61 regular season appearances last season in the AHL with the Ontario Reign. He recorded 18 points and 77 PIM during that span.

The 15-year veteran previously spent three seasons with the Arizona Coyotes, making 185 appearances between 2016 and 2019. Connauton has also played for the Dallas Stars, Columbus Blue Jackets, Colorado Avalance, Florida Panthers and Philadelphia Flyers.

In 360 NHL games, Connauton has logged 80 points (28 goals, 52 assists) and through 383 AHL games, he’s tallied 161 points (45 goals, 106 assists).
