The Seattle Kraken have re-signed netminder Joey Daccord to a two-year, $2.4-million deal, the team announced Friday.

Daccord, 26, played five games for the Kraken this past season, posting a 2-1-1 record with a 3.14 GAA and .900 save percentage.

Selected from the Ottawa Senators in the 2021 Expansion Draft, the Boston native spent the bulk of this season playing for the club’s AHL Coachella Valley AHL affiliate.

He helped lead the club to the Calder Cup Final before bowing out to the Hershey Bears in a Game 7 overtime thriller. Daccord performed exceptionally for the Firebirds, posting a 2.22 GAA and .926 save percentage in 26 post-season games, both of which led AHL netminders with more than 10 games.

Daccord was set to become a restricted free agent.
