Kraken sign defenceman Connor Carrick to one-year, $775K contract

The Seattle Kraken have agreed to terms with defenceman Connor Carrick on a one-year, two-way deal, the team announced Monday.

It’s a return of sorts for Carrick: he was signed by Seattle for their inaugural 2021-22 season, although he only ever played for their AHL affiliate. Carrick spent last season with Boston’s organization, putting up 44 points in 63 games for the AHL’s Providence Bruins.

The right-shooting 29-year-old was originally drafted 137th overall by Washington in the 2012 Draft. He’s registered 50 points in 242 NHL games.
