The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed defenceman Steven Santini to a one-year, two-way contract.
The team announced the move Monday.
Santini, 29, spent the 2023-24 season with the AHL’s Ontario Reign, scoring five goals and adding 15 assists.
The American defenceman was originally a second-round pick of the New Jersey Devils in 2013. He made his NHL debut in 2015-16 with the Devils and has since spent time with the Nashville Predators and St. Louis Blues.
