Lightning sign Erik Cernak to eight-year, $41.6M extension

The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed Erik Cernak to an eight-year, $41.6 million contract extension on Wednesday.

The news came alongside fellow restricted free agents Mikhail Sergachev and Anthony Cirelli, who also agreed to eight-year deals with the Bolts.

The Slovakian picked up a goal and 13 points for the Lightning in 2021-22. Cernak was also the team leader for hits with 165 in 55 games.
