Lightning sign Haydn Fleury to two-year contract

The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed defenceman Haydn Fleury to a two-year contract worth $1,525,000, general manager Julien BriseBois announced Wednesday. The contract carries an average annual value of $762,500.

Fleury spent last season with expansion team Seattle Kraken, where he played 36 games and scored two goals and four points.

Previously, he spent time with the Anaheim Ducks and Carolina Hurricanes, who drafted him seventh overall in the 2014 NHL Draft.
