Maple Leafs’ Auston Matthews named NHL All-Star Game MVP

Captain Auston Matthews is awarded MVP of the 2024 NHL All-Star Game, and Team Matthews is awarded a $1 million prize for winning the All-Star Game final against Team McDavid.

With a star showing in the final game, Toronto Maple Leafs star Auston Matthews earned the MVP award at the 2024 NHL All-Star Game on Saturday.

Matthews scored two goals and added an assist to take home the honours in front of the hometown crowd at Scotiabank Arena.

Team Matthews prevailed in the final of the NHL All-Star Game with a 7-4 victory.

The 26-year-old finished with four points in two games after registering an assist in his team’s opening win over Team Hughes.
