Maple Leafs’ Nick Foligno day-to-day with lower-body injury

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Nick Foligno is day-to-day with a lower-body injury, per head coach Sheldon Keefe.

Foligno did not play in Game 3 against the Montreal Canadiens on Monday, and will likely be a game-time decision for Game 4 on Tuesday.

The 33-year-old did not skate on Monday morning ahead of Game 3 in Montreal, but Keefe said before the game that he would play.

The Toronto, Ont., native was moved to second-line centre for Game 2, taking the spot of injured captain John Tavares. Riley Nash took Foligno’s place on the second line Monday night.
