The Toronto Maple Leafs have loaned forward Nick Robertson to the AHL’s Toronto Marlies.
Robertson was a healthy scratch for the Maple Leafs during Saturday’s 6-3 loss against the Nashville Predators.
In nine games this season, the 20-year-old has one goal while averaging 10:01 of ice time per game.
The move comes a day before the NHL trade deadline, and the Maple Leafs’ next game isn’t until Wednesday against the New Jersey Devils.
Toronto also lost forward Ondrej Kase against the Predators after taking an elbow to the head.
