Maple Leafs re-sign centre David Kampf to four-year contract

The Toronto Maple Leafs have re-signed forward David Kämpf to a four-year contract with an approximate $2.4 million annual cap hit, Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman reports.

Kämpf was coming off the final year of his deal with Toronto where he recorded seven goals and 27 points in 82 games while adding three assists in 11 Stanley Cup Playoff games.

The 28-year-old originally joined the Leafs on a two-year, $3 million deal in July of 2021.

More to come.
