Maple Leafs’ William Nylander in vs. Kings, Max Pacioretty out

Even though he may not be feeling his best, William Nylander won’t be taking a night off on Wednesday.

The Toronto Maple Leafs‘ star forward, who missed practice Tuesday with an illness, was on the ice for pre-game warmup on Wednesday and is set to play against the visiting Los Angeles Kings.

Fellow forward Max Pacioretty was scratched.

Leafs coach Craig Berube said earlier in the day that an illness was going around the team’s locker room.

John Tavares missed practice earlier this week with an illness, but has been back with the team since Tuesday.

The Maple Leafs host the Kings at 7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. PT. You can watch the game on Sportsnet or stream on Sportsnet+.
