The Minnesota Wild have re-signed Hunter Jones on a one-year, two-way contract, the NHL franchise said on Friday.
The contract pays Jones $787,500 at the NHL level and $70,000 in the minor leagues.
Jones, a goaltender, played for the Iowa Heartlanders in the ECHL last season. He went 11-17-9 with a 3.07 goals against average, a .905 save percentage and one shutout in 38 games.
The 22-year-old also played one game for the Iowa Wild in the American Hockey League AHL, in which he managed to stop 26 of 28 shots faced in a 2-1 overtime loss at Milwaukee.
Jones was drafted in the second round of the 2019 NHL Draft by the Wild, 59th overall.
