Maple Leafs’ Morgan Rielly and Olympic champion Tessa Virtue welcome first child

Morgan Rielly has entered his dad era.

The Maple Leafs defenceman and wife Tessa Virtue announced the birth of their first child, McCormick Rielly, on Friday.

Virtue, a five-time Olympic medallist in figure skating, broke the news on her personal Instagram account.

The Canadian couple, who married in 2023, announced that Virtue was pregnant in May.
