Nashville Predators sign D Alexandre Carrier to three-year deal

The Predators’ spending spree just keeps on going.

Nashville re-signed defenceman Alexandre Carrier to a three-year, $11.25 million contract worth $3.75 AAV, the team announced Monday.

Carrier, 27, has spent the entirety of his six-year NHL career with the Predators after being selected by the team in the fourth round, 115th overall, at the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.

Since then, he has tallied 10 goals and 52 assists in 217 NHL games.

He had a strong year last season, picking up a career-high four goals to go along with 16 assists in 73 games.

He was named to the all-rookie team after the 2021-22 season after notching three goals and 27 assists in 77 games for the Predators.
