Nashville Predators sign forward Hiroki Gojsic to three-year, entry-level contract

The Nashville Predators have signed forward Hiroki Gojsic to a three-year, entry-level contract, the team announced Monday.

The deal comes a day after Gojsic made his pre-season debut with the team.

The 18-year-old from Langley, B.C., was drafted by the Predators in the third round, 94th overall, in June.

He was ranked eighth in scoring among all rookies in the Western Hockey League last season with 50 points (21 goals and 29 assists) in 68 games with the Kelowna Rockets.

Gojsic also had five assists in 11 playoff games as Kelowna reached the second round.
