The New Jersey Devils have signed forward Samuel Laberge to a one-year, two-way deal, the club announced on Saturday.
The native of Chateauguay, Que., will earn $775,000 at the NHL level and $90,000 at the American Hockey League. Laberge, 26, has a goal and three assists with the Utica Comets so far this season in the AHL. He has yet to play an NHL game.
