New York Rangers announce two-year extension for Vesey

The New York Rangers have signed forward Jimmy Vesey to a two-year extension, the club announced on Wednesday.

The deal was reported to be worth an annual average of $800,000.

Vesey, 29, has six goals and six assists so far this season and was set to become an unrestricted free-agent this summer.
