Oilers re-sign defenceman Noel Hoefenmayer to one-year contract

The Edmonton Oilers have re-signed defenceman Noel Hoefenmayer to a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced Monday.

The deal is worth $775,000 at the NHL level.

Hoefenmayer, who has yet to make his NHL debut, spent this past season with the Bakersfield Condors of the American Hockey League and had 18 points (seven goals and 11 assists) in 47 games.

The 25-year-old from Toronto was drafted in the fourth round, 108th overall, by the Arizona Coyotes in 2017.
