Oilers recall G Calvin Pickard from AHL Bakersfield to replace Campbell

The Edmonton Oilers have recalled veteran goalie Calvin Pickard from AHL Bakersfield, the team announced Wednesday.

The move comes one day after the Oilers placed struggling goalie Jack Campbell on waivers as the team searches for answers in goal during a terrible start to the season. Campbell cleared waivers Wednesday and was assigned to Bakersfield.
