What’s old is now new for the Edmonton Oilers, who are bringing back an iconic look for the 2022-23 season.

The team announced that it will return to its traditional royal blue design, with the new jersey being shown off by players selected at the 2022 NHL Draft.

“We are excited to re-introduce these iconic jerseys and are grateful for the input from both the leadership group in our locker room and our great fans,” said Stew MacDonald, president and CRO of Oilers Entertainment Group. “There is a great history to this jersey, including five Stanley Cup championships, and we look forward to the team creating many more historic moments in blue and orange starting this fall.”

Since 2017, the Oilers’ primary home jersey has been orange with blue and white stripes.
