Oilers sign forward Brendan Perlini to one-year, two-way contract

The Edmonton Oilers have signed forward Brendan Perlini to a one-year, two-way contract worth $750,000, the team announced Saturday.

Perlini played with HC Ambri-Piotta in Switzerland last season scoring nine goals and adding seven assists in 21 games.

The 25-year-old from Guildford, England, was drafted 12th overall by the Arizona Coyotes in 2014. He registered 76 points (46 goals and 30 assists) over five NHL seasons with the Coyotes, Chicago Blackhawks and Detroit Red Wings.
