Penguins ink goalie Maxime Lagace to one-year deal

The Pittsburgh Penguins announced Saturday that they’ve signed goalie Maxime Lagace to a one-year, two-way deal worth $700,000.

Lagace, 27, played in 33 games from the American Hockey League’s Providence Bruins last season, posting a 22-7-3 record with a 2.37 goals-against average, a .919 save percentage and five shutouts.

He went undrafted and has 17 games of NHL experience, all with the Vegas Golden Knights between 2017-19.
