Predators’ Filip Forsberg leaves game after hit from Flyers’ Ristolainen

Nashville Predators forward Filip Forsberg left Saturday’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers after receiving a hit from defenceman Rasmus Ristolainen and didn’t return.

The apparent injury occurred late in the first period when Risolainen hit Forsberg against the glass in the corner. Forsberg then fell hard and needed help from teammates to get off the ice.

The Predators have not yet provided an update on Forsberg’s status.

Forsberg, 28, is second in team scoring with 19 goals and 23 assists in 50 games this season.

Nashville is currently four points out of the second wild-card spot in the Western Conference.
