Rangers trade Austin Rueschhoff to Predators for future considerations

The Nashville Predators acquired forward Austin Rueschhoff from the New York Rangers for future considerations Tuesday.

Rueschhoff has yet to make his NHL debut and has 11 points (two goals, nine assists) in 31 games with the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League this season.

He has 43 points (20 goals, 23 assists) over the past three seasons with the Rangers farm team.

The 25-year-old from Wentzville, Mo., signed with New York as an undrafted free agent in 2020 after three seasons with Western Michigan University.

Rueschhoff is eligible to become a restricted free agent at the end of this season.
