Sabres re-sign defenceman Jeremy Davies to 1-year contract

The Buffalo Sabres announced Monday they have re-signed defenceman Jeremy Davies to a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000.

Davies, who was set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1, appeared in one game with the Sabres this past season. He also played in 66 games with the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League and recorded 23 points (11 goals and 12 assists).
