The Ottawa Senators have acquired minor-league forward Wyatt Bongiovanni from the Winnipeg Jets in a trade for future considerations, the team announced Friday.
The undrafted Bongiovanni, 24, has eight goals and seven assists in 35 AHL games with Manitoba this season. He is in the second year of a two-year, entry-level contract.
The Senators say they are assigning Bongiovanni to AHL Belleville.
