The Ottawa Senators have loaned goaltending prospect Filip Gustavsson to Sodertalje SK. He will return ahead of Ottawa’s 2020-21 NHL training camp.
Gustavsson played the 2019-20 season with the Belleville Senators in the AHL, compiling a 15-6-3 record, a 3.23 GAA and .889 save percentage in 24 games and was recalled on two occasions but did not play a game at the NHL level.
The 23-year-old netminder was selected in the second round of the 2016 NHL Draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins before he was traded to the Senators in 2018.
