Senators see return of Zub, Chabot, Stutzle ahead of game vs. Coyotes

The Ottawa Senators will get some key players back in time to face the Arizona Coyotes on Friday.

Coach Jacques Martin told reporters on Friday morning that his club will get defenceman Artem Zub back after a day-to-day absence with a lower-body injury. Zub has three goals and 17 assists fr 20 points — all at even-strength — in 44 games this season.

Martin added that defenceman Chabot, who has been hobbled of late and left Wednesday’s game in the third period, and star forward Stutzle, who also has been banged-up, will also slide back into the lineup. Both missed Thursday’s practice for “maintenance.”

Martin did not provide an update on star centre Josh Norris, who left Wednesday’s game against the Nashville Predators with what is believed to be another shoulder injury.

The Senators called up Zack MacEwen on Friday.
