Senators sign Dylan Gambrell to one-year contract extension

The Ottawa Senators have signed forward Dylan Gambrell to a one-year contract extension, the team announced Wednesday.

Gambrell’s contract has a value of $950,000 for the 2022-23 season.

The 25-year-old appeared in 63 games for the Senators last season, an NHL career-high, recording seven points on three goals and four assists, after being acquired in a trade with the San Jose Sharks on Oct. 24.

Splitting time between San Jose and Ottawa in his NHL career, Gambrell has appeared in 173 games recording 30 points on 13 goals and 17 assists.
