Senators trade defenceman Kristians Rubins to Flames for future considerations

The Ottawa Senators have traded defenceman Kristians Rubins to the Calgary Flames in exchange for future considerations, the teams announced Friday.

Rubins has two goals and six points in 42 games with AHL Belleville this season.

The 25-year-old defenceman has played in three career NHL games all with the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2021-22 season.
