Toronto Maple Leafs sign Cedric Pare to one-year, two-way contract

The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed forward Cédric Paré to a one-year, two-way deal, the team announced on Tuesday.

The contract will hold a cap hit of $775,000 for the upcoming season.

The six-foot-three, 25-year-old spent the 2023-2024 campaign with the Colorado Eagles, the AHL affiliate to the Colorado Avalanche. He recorded 14 goals and 21 assists for 35 points across 61 games.

The Lévis, Que., native was originally selected out of the QMJHL by the Boston Bruins in the sixth round of the 2017 NHL Draft. He has since suited up for 148 AHL games between the Belleville Senators as well as the Eagles, amassing 27 goals, 42 assists for 69 points during that time.
