UFC icons Georges St-Pierre and Kamaru Usman make Game 7 wager

Ahead of one of the most anticipated sporting finals in recent memory, it only makes sense for some friendly wagering to up the stakes even more.

Which is exactly why UFC legends Georges St-Pierre and Kamaru Usman have made their own bet in anticipation of Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final on Monday.

Don’t worry, the long-retired “GSP” won’t be stepping into an octagon against Usman should he lose.

Instead, the two have wagered a simple 30 push-ups for the loser. St-Pierre, as a Canadian, will obviously be backing the Edmonton Oilers. Meanwhile, Usman, a frequent visitor of Amerant Bank Arena, will back the Florida Panthers.

Completing 30 push-ups may be a challenge for some folks, but for two former welterweight champions it hardly presents an obstacle. So, the duo upped the stakes with some wardrobe ramifications.

Should St-Pierre lose, he’ll have to wear a Panthers sweater while doing the push-ups, while Usman will have to wear the Oilers’ orange and blue should he lose.

Keep your eyes peeled after the game to see which of the two UFC veterans has to pay up and drop to give us 30.
