Utah Hockey Club signs forward Travis Barron to one-year, two-way contract

The Utah Hockey Club signed forward Travis Barron to a one-year, two-way contract. Per team policy, the terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Barron, 25, spent the entire 2023-24 season with the AHL’s Tucson Roadrunners, collecting 10 goals, 10 assists and 80 penalty minutes in 68 games.

The Brampton, Ont. native has played in parts of three seasons with the Roadrunners, scoring 29 goals and picking up 249 penalty minutes over 182 games.

Barron was originally selected in the seventh round of the 2016 draft by the Colorado Avalanche.
