Vegas Golden Knights sign F Zach Aston-Reese to one-year, two-way contract

The Vegas Golden Knights have signed forward Zach Aston-Reese to a one-year, two-way contract, his agent Dan Milstein announced on Monday.

The deal is worth $475,000 at the AHL level and $775,000 at the NHL level.

Aston-Reese, 29, spent most of last season with Detroit’s AHL affiliate, the Grand Rapids Griffins. He tallied 14 goals and 16 assists in 61 games.

He only made three appearances with the Red Wings, going point-less over that stretch.

He has previously spent time at the NHL level playing for the Pittsburgh Penguins, Anaheim Ducks and Toronto Maple Leafs.

Over the course of his seven-year NHL career, he has 42 goals and 38 assists in 310 games.
