Wheeler surprised by Jets’ captaincy decision but says he doesn’t need a letter on his jersey

Winnipeg Jets forward Blake Wheeler says there was a bit of surprise by the team’s decision to strip his captaincy, but says “if you think that because of this I’m just going to fade into the back and not be a leader, then your sorely mistaken.”
