Wild sign forward Brendan Gaunce to two-year, two-way contract

The Minnesota Wild have signed centre Brendan Gaunce to a two-year, two-way contract.

The team announced the move, that will pay Gaunce $775,000 at the NHL and $550,000 at the AHL level in both years of the deal, on Monday.

The 30-year-old played in 24 games with the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2023-24, scoring two goals and four points. He added 19 goals and 39 points in 46 games with the AHL’s Cleveland Monsters.

The Sudbury, Ont., native has played in 177 career NHL games, spending time with the Vancouver Canucks, Boston Bruins and Blue Jackets.
