Wild sign forward Travis Boyd to one-year, two-way contract

Travis Boyd is heading home.

The Hopkins, Minn. native signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Minnesota Wild on Monday, the team announced. The deal is worth $775,000 at the NHL level and $550,000 at the AHL level.

Boyd, 30, has played in 296 NHL games over seven seasons, spending time with the Washington Capitals, Toronto Maple Leafs, Vancouver Canucks and Arizona Coyotes.

In 2023-24 with Arizona, Boyd scored two goals and registered eight points.
