Wild’s Hartman to have hearing with NHL for hit on Jets’ Ehlers

Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman will have a hearing Wednesday with the NHL’s department of player safety for interference on Winnipeg Jets forward Nikolaj Ehlers in Tuesday’s game.

Hartman was assessed a penalty for interference after the big open-ice hit on Ehlers in the third period of Winnipeg’s 3-1 win.

Hartman has 15 goals and 22 assists for 37 points in 59 games this season.

The Wild have one game left before the playoffs.
