Former F1 driver Logan Sargeant to test for IndyCar’s Meyer Shank Racing

American driver Logan Sargeant will test with IndyCar’s Meyer Shank Racing in November.

The team confirmed on Monday that the former Formula 1 driver will take the wheel at the Thermal Club in Thermal, Calif., in November.

The 23-year-old from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., was dropped by Williams Racing in late August after scoring just one point over 37 races in two years with the team.

Franco Colapinto replaced Sargeant ahead of the Italian Grand Prix and has four points in three races since the switch.
