KITCHENER, Ont. — Sam O'Reilly's goal at 4:29 of the third period snapped a 1-1 deadlock and lifted the London Knights to a 2-1 Ontario Hockey League victory over the Kitchener Rangers on Tuesday night at Kitchener Memorial Auditorium.
The Edmonton Oilers took O'Reilly in the first round of last year's NHL Draft.
Oliver Bonk scored a first period power-play goal for the league-leading Knights (54-10-2-0), who were outshot 27-16 by the hosts.
Matthew Andonovski scored a second period power-play goal for the Rangers (46-14-4-2), who trailed 1-0 after the first period but were tied 1-1 heading into the third.
The Rangers went 1-for-4 on the power play, while the Knights were 1-for-3.

FLINT, Mich. — Wil McFadden's goal 33 seconds into the third period snapped a 1-1 stalemate and lifted the visiting Guelph Storm to a 2-1 win over the Flint Firebirds.
Lev Katzin also scored for the Storm (19-37-5-4), who were outshot 39-27. Netminder Zachary Jovanovski made 38 saves for the Storm.
Sam McCue scored for the Firebirds (28-32-2-3), who were tied 1-1 heading into the third period.

The London Knights are ranked No. 2, the Kitchener Rangers are No. 6, the Brantford Bulldogs are No. 8, and the Windsor Spitfires are No. 10.
