Canada has strong medal chances in canoe and track and field on Friday as the Olympics hit the home stretch.
There's also a guaranteed medal in beach volleyball, with a much-anticipated final determining whether it's silver or gold.
Here's a look at Day 14 highlights, along with the full event schedule.
(All times Eastern)
Katie Vincent and Sloan MacKenzie (women's canoe sprint, C2 500-m semis, 4:30 a.m., final, 6:40 a.m.
The Canadians set an Olympic record in winning their heat. Vincent and MacKenzie teamed up for bronze at this event at last year's world championships.
Marco Arop (men's 800-m semis, 5:30 a.m.)
The Canadian is the reigning world champ in this event. The final is Saturday.
Kelsey Mitchell (women's track cycling, sprint qualifying, elimination rounds, 8 a.m.-1:10 p.m.)
The Canadian won Olympic gold in this event three years ago in Tokyo, but has finished outside the top 10 at the past two world championships.
Jacqueline Simoneau and Audrey Lamothe (artistic swimming, duet technical routine, 1:30 p.m.)
The Canadians won two bronze medals at the Olympic test event. This is the first day of the two-day competition.
Canadian women's 4x100-metre relay team (final, 1:30 p.m.)
The team set a national record to qualify for the final. Canada certainly won't be a medal favourite, but crazy things can happen in the relay.
Sarah Mitton (women's shot put final, 1:37 p.m.)
The Nova Scotian had the best score during qualifying. She won silver at this event at last year's world championships. World No. 1 Chase Jackson of the U.S. failed to qualify for the final.
Canadian men's 4x100-metre relay team (final, 1:47 p.m.)
Canada didn't have its best run in the heats, but still did enough to advance. The Canadians won silver at this year's World Athletics relays.
Melissa Humana-Paredes and Brandie Wilkerson (women's beach volleyball final, 4:30 p.m.)
The Canadians face the world's No. 1 team from Brazil — Ana Patricia Ramos & Eduarda Santos Lisboa (Duda) — in the final. Canada has won four matches in a row to overcome a 1-2 start. Canada has never won Olympic volleyball gold.
